2700 Year-old Mushroom, Largest On Planet

Oregon has the largest and oldest living organism on Earth! This organism produces (Armillaria ostoyae), part of the honey mushroom family. The plant and root system of any fungus is referred to as the mycelium and the one found in the Blue Mountains of Oregon measures close to 2.4 acres across. To read more go to Scientific American
